I'm told (14 June) that Bon Trading are once again advising customers they are out of stock with supplies expected "in a few months". Let's keep our fingers crossed.

I first rang Bon Trading in 1998 trying to buy an Atomic.... they told me then- that "New stock is expected in a few months..." I left my name on the waiting list. After 2 Years of Waiting- I rang them again. Same story only this time it would be 6 months till the next shipment. Left my name on the waiting list- they said "don't worry- we will call you". Waited another 2 years with no luck.
Tried agian in 2005 and 2006- same old story. And now June 2009 "in a few months"...
Yet on their website they say "Are ATOMIC® Coffee Makers still being made? Yes! They are still being manufactured to the classic standards. They have been made consistently since 1946"
I don't know how true that is...? Firstly, because your comments are related to 3 years back (2005-2006!!!), and secondly because I bought a brand new, beautiful, and genuine Atomic (made in Italy, not in Taiwan) from Bon Trading last November (2008)!!! How lucky am I?!!! So as you can understand, i have all the reasons to be very happy with Bon Trading services.
Anyway, maybe I was lucky, or maybe you just have "second intentions" with your "comment"...
Re July,10 comment - I can't understand your problem I had no trouble getting an Atomic when I rang Bon Trading Co. in Sydney. Possibly you phoned at the wrong time/ in between shipments. Apparently they sell quickly as everybody is keen to get the genuine Atomic which comes out of Italy.
you sound exactly like Irene Notaras! It is amazing, you use the same phrases? You also use the atomic name in a generic fashion... I feel sure you must know her? You simply must. When did you get your Atomic? How much did it cost? No there is no doubt about my story- but plenty of doubt about yours.
I think you will find that there are many hundreds of people who have the same story. Bon Trading had 'waiting lists' with thousands of names. Bon Trading did not sell atomics between at least 1998 and 2007 (from my direct experience), or at the very least sold virtually none. This is a well known fact and there was no mistake in the times I called Bon Trading and tried to order. They never had any stock. It is actually kind of rude to suggest that I have made some kind of error here, calling 'between shipments'. The truth is each time I called Bon Trading promised that they would call me back. They never, ever did. I think the author of this blog also tried to purchase an Atomic from Bon Trading? As did Frederick Nakos? They were never able to purchase one and even found purchasing parts a bit difficult at times. These are matters of public record. To suggest otherwise is quite ridiculous and you know it.

Well I call that a straight out lie.
